We have about 180,000 types of jobs, all of which receive certain salaries from the government and companies, but being an artist is not a job.

There's pot-washing job but not art job.

You seem to miss the point. There are no such thing as "artists" these days. There may be an artist or two for you, nobody else - just you. Just as seeing Joseph Beuys's performance - something you'd consider AN EVENT.

So if you consider someone an artist, i.e. you truly appreciate their art - you simply ask them about anything. Including money, sex, pose in which they take a shit.

You're asking for an easy solution - you can grab a random "success" book in your shop, or ask a ChatGPT for recommendations (that'd actually be great - I always run my questions through Claude AI too, just to double check). Or you can do as I did - go to libgen and write "music management" or "music business" in a search bar.

Without money, art is lost and forgotten. Money guarantees the continued support of art. If ruthless people who have an economic view of everything don't stop being ruthless and don't support artists, there won't be any artist to create art.

There are MANY musicians who are true artists who create music knowing they will likely always run at a loss and they create purely for the sake of creating for the art. If you mean popular music, then that falls under #3 above and more often than not, never in #1 or #2.

The notion that without money, people will no longer create anything is ludicrous.

Many famous artists throughout history didn't achieve "fame" (and thus collectability/ economic value) in their own lifetimes.
