Does anyone have a good resource for MIDI 2.0 stuff?

    Want to try my hand at creating a MIDI controller that's MIDI 2.0 compliant. I've downloaded the relevant docs from the MIDI association, but my god that is a lot pages to dryly discuss the implementation of a digital communications protocol for instruments. Anyone know of any resources that have a bit more of the way of brevity? thx

    Honestly, I would first and foremost look at what instrument and DAW developers have implemented today and follow that, for a start. Going beyond that needs support from the developers in the first place, so talking to some of them certainly makes a lot of sense.
