Problem with QC is, it has been debunked before..
Not too long ago a similar claim was made "fastest calculation" blah blah,
then some chinese dudes corrected the algorithm to work with regular CPUs, and they easily outperformed the quantum computer..

Before that, I also remember watching one of those Geordie D-Wave presentations, and the guy talking about other dimensions with "beings",
like trying to put a Lovecraftian layer on top...

And that's the first time I thought all of this could be just BS.. Hyped and well financed BS ofc.


And now what?
They're Calculating something so fast, that they don't know how's it happening,
so they assume the calculation is made on another dimension?

That means they must have no idea of what's going on inside the chip.. no?
If they cannot track/predict what the chip does at every stage,
and if all of this is accidental and it's not following the mechanism they had in mind..

Then OK, they made something that apparently does something right, but they don't know how it works..
And since they don't know how it works, or how to observe it and what it's doing,
the easy answer is: "oh it's happening somewhere else, Magic!"

So essentially they have no idea of wtf they doing, but the Hype is there,
and the billions of dollars well spent, given the ever increasing zeroes on the right of their bank accounts..


PS: Let's see if the algorithm cannot be adapted for regular CPUs again, and performance crown taken..

Everyone is a scientist, especially in Italy, where politicians and government journalists are also the most enlightened doctors, scientists, philosophers, mathematicians on the planet.
However, bullshit aside, consciousness is firstly not a human thing, and secondly... the more extensive it is, the more it lives on several different dimensional planes (let's call them parallel dimensions, although they can also be in series).

 

With infinite Fosters out there at least one of them must be able to make music that doesn't make me want to hack my ears off.

Sadly not.
But at similar age my 1st performance was in front of the class singing 'two little boys' for which I won an apple. (And Rolf Harris won a term of imprisonment).
'henry the eighth' and 'years may come, years may go' were dad's car songs. The words 'let's take a look behind' were scarily performed in situ by the dad in the driver's seat.
