google is late to the party. they've def refined and made it much much smaller but quantum computers have been on the scene for just under a decade. i've been extremely interested in the quantum computing space ever since i saw this video ab 7 yrs ago. the speaker is geordie rose and he (as far as i know) was the first to build a quantum computer in the D-wave computer. he was speaking ab farming resources from parallel universes in this talk and i was hooked. u don't have to be a physicist or know everything ab bits and q-bits and superposition to find this talk extremely interesting and exciting and just.. wild. if this stuff interests u at all i'd definitely recommend giving it quick watch through.
