Well I've tried the reverb, I like it a lot, it is very usable and consumes minimum resources.

 

They gave it away automatically as a bonus together with another free plugin (maybe the Pultec, I forget). Galaxy Echo bonus licenses were limited to 2500-5000 - first come, first served.

 

Technically you can give any other developer on Plugin Boutique the money instead of UAD

But I do hate iLok too, and that is definitely the worst part about owning anything UAD.

I can see my uad freebies on my machine because the ilok is greyed out. I tested it by removing my ilok and the plugins all work.
It's probably a good idea to test it yourself ! Plot twist, you can even uninstall the UAD download manager and use those free plugins untethered and unplug your internet.

Assuming you are not new or "donerer than I " , have deactivated the uad freebies, updated your ilok manager and are still not seeing your host computer as an option in the activation window, I would then say your only option is to uninstall them all , burn your ilok and wait for an R2R release...;)

My iLok manager is updated (as I unfortunately need it for some things), and said UAD plugs are authorized to the physical iLok as a I said.

According to the iLok License Manager app, I can choose to put the license on either the physical iLok or my machine. I chose to put it on my hardware iLok.

I'm really really not sure what you are saying or trying to dispute here....

other then I pointed out that they don't require machine authorization to work which as you said:

and (not cloud perhaps, as costs more, which is passed onto the client or the user,... and why they generally or often don't use it on freebies and their clients don't...) is true and working for me.

So I'm just giving the parameters on which/how it works in my experience, in an effort to inform other users here so they aren't confused by what you said.

So I don't know if you were incorrect in what you said, or how parsed it etc, or perhaps, hey, I misread in your initial statement saying it required machine auth, and/or as physical iLok licensing not available ..., and I'm not trying to make a deal out of that at all, or trying to embarrass you or anything like that ffs lol, as hell, I'm frequently wrong, and certainly have no issue with being corrected at all...

I just want people to know if they want to use this plugin from UAD they don't ~have~ to machine auth it.

simple as that.

(And of course, it's common to neuter/begone with the UAD download manager and anything else related to them unless you need it. As many people here do as practice. )
