I don't have the expertise to properly do a full psycho analysis on him. With that said, i think you 're giving him too much credit haha.
Academic? He can't put a proper sentence together man. A smarter troll would oppose a musician's financial frailty with something like a civil servant, someone with a permanent job. A baker is not a perm job, you can get fired anytime or if you are boss even face similar problems as musicians do. So yeah, frustrated sure. Academic not really. The volume of insults is really high. A real musician should not insult anyone. Telling the truth is different from insulting. In this thread, I mentioned the problems that artists are facing and that this unfair situation causes pain for the artists, but instead I heard insults and curses from many people. If the art world is supposed to be so cruel that artists insult each other instead of solving fundamental problems, I don't want this world.

Actually, as sensible and logical as that seems, I am beginning to believe he may be smarter than people think. For a start if he established a discourse on a tangent based on a civil servant vs a musician he would expose himself immediately. Somehow he manages to subvert the usual logic turning it in circles.

He is a paradox himself.
One paradox meaning of course is a statement that is self-contradictory or logically untenable, though based on a valid deduction from acceptable premises. This is the core of his trolling. It causes intelligent people to break whatever he says into smaller pieces, sometimes too late to realise they got sucked in. Most trolls get caught immediately and banned. He has successfully managed over five years to last at worst five pages and if unlucky, multiple threads. There are people in the world who are intelligent that purposefully pretend to be stupid.
There is another paradox to this- Take the opposite stance like most and think he is stupid. Then also if this were true, stupid will never know it is stupid because to know it was stupid, it would have to be intelligent.

I didn't realize he was a forum troll. First of all, everyone is innocent until proven otherwise.

I think forum trolls are part of society, they are people after all. They are also a product or the result of other people or their environment. In short, the lunatics are also part of society.

I think they liven up the forum because this kind of madness is actually quite entertaining. If you kick out the forum troll, the next one comes...! If a society produces lunatics, it must also pay for the damage caused by the madness.

I find people who constantly interfere with their kind of humor and don't contribute anything to the matter more annoying. Also people who constantly insult others, which indicates a bad character, because everything is anonymous, none of them actually have to answer for it. Well, at least most people know what idiots they are. The modern terms are mobbing and stalking, covered on the Internet by anonymity. But they are criminal offenses per se.

That's why social media like Facebook, Instagram, etc. are also called antisocial media, because people are regularly attacked there under the protection of anonymity. The state now reacts to hate speech and hate postings with reports and house searches, which varies from country to country. Some are calling for anonymity to be lifted.

 

Due to the high frequency with which this prick harasses us, I think we should present him with a new image category available for when Foster's next reincarnation occurs...
