Gotcha I'll make video for you, I tried to hold longer notes in the bass video part. Some are just small attacks and plucks

I don't have any type of monitors, just my laptop speakers so I can't really hear the low end.

When you say it's amazing, amazing in comparison to what? Are you comparing it to the original hardware? Other JP-8 plugins? If so, which one(s)? I am just interested to find out because there are many JP-8 emu's out there and I find it quite difficult to be objective when it comes to ones that "sound great" and ones who aren't so great because I don't have the original to compare it to.

I have never had any experience with any real hardware or analog anything, so I don't know what those sound like. Most people know that I came back to music production and the internet just 2-3 months ago. I used to produce remixes and some techo/house. Back then I'm talking nearly 20 years ago, all we had were a few synths/samplers/romplers or whatever. We had like Nexus, Hypersonic, Vanguard, Z3ta+, Microntonic, Minimonsta about it really, I used Fruity Studio 4, I left the internet and music production around FL 7. So I'm amazed by everything these days, because it's all new to me. Not a lot of software was cracked back then, it may have been out but it was hella expensive. I've been a part of the warez community since probably 98-99, there weren't many cracking crews around those times either. I had accounts on the orirginal ProAudioZone forums I think it was and demonoid too, it was p2p back then. Demonoid was on of the first torrent memberships, so I'm kind old school to the internet music community. It's like being in an frozen ice capsule and thawing into to a new world, best way I can describe it. I'm in awe of eveything thats available these days, and its crazy to see that a piece of software comes out aans the same day its already cracked lol. You used to have to wait months somtimes years to get your hands on stuff back then.

So when I say amazing that's to my ears, and the synth is extemely great quality sampling.

    get flex asio and asio4all
get a good low budget 100-200 monez headphones with
    mini jack ablity
    and a midi controller
and you set for the first
if you using samples and not into playing own melodies and own chord stuff you even can live without

    I use ASIO4ALLv2 but I don't have Flex.
I keep saying I'm gonna get a midi controller and I am, I'm just torn between what I want lol. I've yet to make it to Sam Ash or Guitar Center to play with any because it's nearly 2 hours away. I'm kind of thinking about getting this so I have an MPC as well.

I've seen videos of others reviewing it who have extensive background in syths etc. They are saying this one sounds much better than the Arturia and Tal versions.

What I meant by I don't have monitors is some of the presets I played in the video I could barely or not even hear some of the lower frequencies on my laptop speakers.

    Acustica Audio TH2, new free Jupiter-inspired Synthesizer plugin - December 20, 2024

In early December, Italian company Acustica Audio released the Thing Synthesizer Suite. A bundle that includes two Roland Jupiter-8-inspired synths plugins. I’m guilty. I forgot to cover the release, as there were just too many releases to do.
There is now another synth release from the developers. Acustica Audio has released TH2, a free Synthesizer plugin for the holidays.
