your work sounds interesting, I want to move and sing along to it (but the track needs to be mixed correctly).
but it's not melodic techno...
progressive house that has entered the territory of electro house, with the pressure of dutch house and notes of fidget house.

The composition and arrangement are superb. Just very good. Better than I ever done for sure, no feedback here except that it's excellent work.

    The mix can be improved.
There are frequency clashes between elements in low mids. Cutting every element except voice somewhere at 120-300 Hz for just a few dB would make it clearer.
There are not enough highs on the hypersaw, hats and bass, the mix overall feels dull because of it. I think you've probably cut it too much, roll it back a little. Don't add highs to the whole track cause the vocals are mighty fine as they are.
The overall dynamics feels unstable, jittery and pumpy. Some releases somewhere don't do what they need to do. Prolly on mix bus among other things.

I appreciate everyone's positivity I have not made this genre before and actually I def messed up before the overall mastering process on the master chain so that is why things sound pretty unstable. Some synths are layered in such a way that I could not have the full dynamics of each one because then that equals more mud. I also lowered a lot of highs :p but even then you are right there should be some that need to go after the fact. Also MRAK has a song called Reserva that sounds more trance but fits under the melodic techno genre for some reason maybe because its on the Afterlife label? Anyways I do appreciate everyones input and the positivity again :)). Thank you all.

The arrangement and track are great in general, the master is maybe a bit overcompress, it's not that much of a bad thing but it increase the mix problem.
You could use the hats to give more air in the high, cause it's a bit dark (synth can live without high but you have to have something above 12khz).
The sub is a bit inconsistent, maybe use a separate synth just to play it, with a fixed phase so it stay coherent with the kick and don't have to follow the synth all the time when it's to high. The kick is a bit compresse, its tail should not go above the transient, so maybe add some attack if there is a compressor on your drum. Usually in those genre the drum are more controlled with clippers/transient shapper, and the compressor is just there to give some groove more than controle the dynamics (even if technically it is a bit the same thing, but think of it as a "movement giver" rather that "punch giver" if that make sens).

Other than those issue, the mix have a good balance in general. Maybe the voice could use some more effect here and there for more contrast, but that's more creative tastes :)

    Good job

I'm a big fan of multiple versions of a song. I also find longer versions very useful sometimes. So a good song can be 3 times as long and mixed 3 times differently.

Remember that your voice will be or can become your greatest asset compared to the competition, good-sounding voices that are expressive are rare. And forget about music genres and customer groups, follow your path and I hope to hear more from you. I'm following you now on SoundCloud.

Hey mate. Welcome. This has a commercial appeal that few do. Very very good i 'd say. Well done. The mix needs a bit more refinement, master is over-compressed but still inconsistent, needs more attention for sure. I agree with Talula and Fletcher on their points made. A like from me man. Best of luck

    A small recipe for success:

Love what you do, stick with it and work and be patient. Hard work is always rewarded. Don't forget that most of it happens in your head. All beginnings are difficult. You grow with the thing and the task you do. Most of our fellow human beings are simply too stupid and too lazy.

Well thank you so much :) I will def work on that stuff I need to learn more about compression maybe people can give me some tips about it. That would be super useful because I know how to compress I just need to learn more about it. In depth I guess is what I am saying.

You have a positive attitude towards the cause that deserves to be supported. With your right attitude, the foundation for personal success is also there. Everyone starts small and all beginnings are difficult... and practice makes perfect!

I have a few books on mixing and mastering and effects in my cupboard but most of it is practice and you have to take a little time to get a feel for it, the rest happens wonderfully on its own.

In the lost world we called such compositions trance/progressive.
Mix is off, sounds like ear fatigue. Also too much sidechain and/or some compression errors.
Maybe use this as reference track during mixing. (Which has much more techno in it)

So Anyma, MRAK, Tale Of Us, all are signed to Afterlife records which is mainly a Melodic Techno record label. They have songs that have trance vibes in it so I totally understand what you guys mean by that. Which is very confusing in general because the genres kind of mesh together which would be considered progressive/trance/melodic techno and what not. Unless your doing completely techno with no other elements in it then it would sound really minimal I would say. This project took about idk 6 days so ya there is ear fatigue and the fact that I mixed and mastered with skull candy headphones and just spectrum analyzers LOL

These vocals are from some random pack I got like 2 years ago I believe but I never used them. I just had the dry vocals and processed them. I forgot to say that -____---

"music loops", tonal stuff may or may not be noticeable; and they are also the easiest to alter into something completely unrecognizable. Vocal samples can be very difficult to disguise, if not impossible. If they are key to a release-worthy track (or even just a keeper), you are better off just paying for the samples so you can use it, as is. They are usually too much of the mix's focus to easily just delete, or substitute and replace. Some basic "rules of thumb" can keep you in the clear most of the time.
