There's a good chance the original string patch came from the Triton or Motif; Kronos has some old Triton patches in it. I'd start there. I remember trying to remake 'Lean Back' 20 years ago and couldn't find the string patch. I think it was in the Motif, though, with some post mixing.

 

Oh and I'm sure you already have the Triton vst and they just released the Montage (Motif patches) on the sister site not too long ago.
