There are many paradoxes in our lives that seem unsolvable. One of those paradoxes is the gap between poverty and wealth. Most musicians are poor people who cannot make much money from music. Instead, there are many jobs that require no expertise, but earn more than 10 times as much money as musicians without even using their brains.
If a musician cannot earn acceptable money, how can he have peace of mind and make music and make the rest of society benefit from his art?
Another problem that exists among most musicians and artists is that artists have families who want a normal life from the artist, but the artist is unable to live due to stepping on the path of art and facing many problems in this path. Not providing for the needs of himself and his family. This creates a paradox in the artist's life, where in one pole, there is the artistic work and the artist's desire to continue his artistic path, and in the other pole there are family and other problems that prevent the artist from focusing on his artistic work.
Another paradox is the paradox of choosing subjects for artwork. Because the society is governed by the rich and influential people, the artist does not have the right to deal with any subject he deems appropriate, and he must ask permission from the rich in order to choose a subject for his artistic work or any reform he needs in the society, in order to continue creating the work of art and not get into trouble and not face the confiscation of works of art. This creates a paradox in the artist's life.
These paradoxes lead the artist's thinking to decline. An artist who has the most delicate and gentle natures in the society, but due to the various pressures he feels on his life from different sources, he becomes like a crumpled paper in practice. Before you call me a troll, think about my words.
How can these paradoxes and various pressures be resolved?

You gotta get clear with your definitions, because it seems like you often have this problem. These are not paradoxes but discrepancies.
And the answer to these discrepancies is, that it is not advisable to strive for money while creating products that do not contain real value.

Thank you for your text and it's nice that you thought about musicians and art.

It is always the lens of reality that we look through, but it is different for everyone. In short, we all have different realities.
Who says and defines what art is? We should talk more about what art really is and not what the media tells you.

The media publishes an auction where Vincent Van Gogh's masterpiece is being auctioned off. For many investors, this is an investment and has nothing to do with real life. The alleged art experts are part of the money machine.

Take a look at what StreetArt is: https://www.isupportstreetart.com

    Banksy: Britain's Uncatchable Criminal

Get together with other artists and start an art association and share the rent for your studio. Maybe you have to take on a part-time job to pay your living expenses. You can also host art parties and distribute the entrance fees among the artists.

Wow doc, another profound and unprecedented reflection! truly fascinating how you, with your chair in "philosophical paradoxes of artistic suffering," managed to diagnose art as a "crumpled paper", pressed by the oppressive forces of the "rich and influential." Of course, we poor, mortal musicians/composers hadn’t realized this until you enlightened us with your super wisdom.

Let’s examine your paradoxes, 'cos they are truly peculiar:

    1) The artist cannot support their family? Fascinating! Who would have thought that people need to pay bills!
    2) And as for asking permission from the rich to create art, maybe you’re confusing musicians with different origins and purposes with Hollywood employees or, perhaps, with yourself, asking the federal government for funding for yet another study on how "mass culture is a pit of mediocrity."
    3) And, of course, your concern about the "decline of artistic thinking" is touching. Because nothing reflects artistic purity like endless monologues in forums where people are just trying to talk, play and make a living from music.

Finally, the cherry on top: "Before you call me a troll, think about my words." Don’t worry, we’ve thought about them. Too much! in fact, maybe the true paradox here is how you, who apparently live by theorizing and philosophizing about music (and likely enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing the university will deposit your paycheck promptly at the end of the month), feel entitled to mock those who make a living from making music in the real world. It must be easier to disparage "low brow music" than to risk your neck creating something people would actually want to listen to. But hey, it's okay: May your paradoxes continue to entertain us as you get expelled and return under yet another brilliant pseudonym.

if you are a poor schizo artist,
    with a normie family,
weighed down by the responsibilities of being,
and feeling trapped within the confines of rich psychopathic desire,
the decline is perhaps a product of not putting focus on beauty and grace,
the path of art is wherever the mind's attention wander's to,
and if you focus on all that is bad then surely both your art and state will decline,
wealth flows like energy and the artist who has found harmony in gentle balance between the self and the universe,
may articulate these feelings and attract it,
the job of the artist is both to observe astutely and communicate clearly,
then to be rewarded by the other but still in reverence of the self,
as once the self becomes the other your paradox is solved.

Hahahaha. It takes effort to write such nonsense. The real paradox is you present it all under an authoritarian tone, like you know something lol. Too bad your English grammar and syntax are quite problematic, which takes points out of the trolling exercise. Trolling value atm 6/10.
@everyone That's it bitches. From here and on all your works are confiscated as they don't please the rich. You are all sentenced to 5 years of mandatory polka making, effective immediately.

i think that what need sto be "solved" is not the paradoxes (of the capitalist economy system, of nature, of your own associated mission...), but the contradictions which these paradoxes cause.

from the perspecitive of psychology, one of many different ways how to solve problems can be to learn how to ignore them.

if a client decides that she wants to deal with the death of kid or with her beeing raped by supressing and forgetting the event - and it seems to work - it is the right way. almost everything which works is the right way.

so 1.) supression can be a form of handling, as paradox as that may sound. :)

i am a politically thinking and politcal active person and all the contradictions which surround me sometimes make me crazy.

my way of handling that is to force myself to make certain compromises.

for example one could blind out all the lesser issues and concentrate on the most important ones:

    - your personal mission
    - how you make your money (or how you don´t)
    - that humans still starve from having no food although there would be absolutely enough for everyone
    - war/peace
    - the written copyright in theory and practice

...or whatever your top 5 would be.

after you found your personal top 5, ignore all the small things and concentrate you thoughts on these main issues.

always keep in mind that sitting there and thinking about this and that and beeing sad and angry and confused does not solve anything.

or on other words: if you do not do anything against what you think is a problem, you just waste your own time.

    act - or stop worrying.

Musical paradoxes are perplexing. The Shepard Tone, the Tritone Paradox, the Risset Rhythm, the Risset Glissando, M.C. Escher's Infinite Canon, the Octave Illusion, the Penrose Scale, the Foster bull**** paradox...

This might be one of the most artistic posts on the thread. If it is not Henry Moore it certainly has a semblance of influence but spiky.
