Hello fine folks,

I have a full installation of EzDrummer2 and it comes with R2R. I select the right program, put in the computer ID, generate the authorization file, but I get an error message. Any idea as to why and how to get around that? Thanks

 

R2R hasn't kept up with Toontrack releases in years. I would get VR's latest version. No keygen, just install, EZX's just work.

 

It's the keygen that came in the Pirate version. What's VR? Couldn't find Superior Drummer, but if you have that, I feel like that's the better software? Thanks for your help... renewing my vows to a TD-12 after 13 years!

 

I got EZD2 to work, but it's an uplayable nightmare with latency even with asio4all. Couldn't find what you call VR because it's such a common term nowadays. I'll either purchase a vexpressions pack or just sell the kit at this point.

 

If you go to sister site and simply search "ezdrummer" or "superior" it'll come right up. Just grab the latest version that matches your os.
Asio4all is your problem. I suspect you need an external interface with a real driver

 

I figured out the latency issue, it was the wireless headset. However, EZD2 is a pain.

I think I found said sister site, however I'm not sure what I'm looking for? EZD2 I found through R2R is like 20gb, yet EZD3 I found on sister site appears to be only 700mb. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Also, are ezx on there too? Could you come in private to guide me? Thanks in advance

 

ezdrummer that is ~700mb is the plugin installer. Then you need the v3 Core Library which is all the base install sample content. That should be about 15gb. And then any update versions should also be around 1gb like the plugin installer size. Expansions are always released separately.

 

So you can download the 700Mb main program without the factory library content if you just want to use EZX packs you already have...
