I recently bought a new PC, but it seems like there are too many DAWs and plugins that worked fine on my previous Windows 10 laptop that don't work on Windows 11...

For example, Serato Sample worked fine on Win10, but on Win11 it doesn't work properly and displays the following image:

 

I wouldn't throw in the towel just yet. For Windows 10, you probably had a few years to customize it and apply corrections here and there.

With the specific error, I'm guessing that Serato can't get past the firewall.
To make settings on the Windows firewall and keep control of what goes in and out, I recommend "Windosw firewall control".

Depending on what K'd software you have installed so far, it may also be that your PC's HOSTS file contains blocks for Serato. Here you should also check whether any settings have been made that block software (not just Serato).

... installing only legitimate software first and creating a backup when you are finished and satisfied with the status quo and mark it as e.g. "basic backup 1". This way you can quickly revert to a stable point.
Then I would always install one or two software packages at a time, check whether everything is running satisfactorily and always create a new backup.
This will save you a lot of time in the long run.

When you have your system up and running again so that you can use all your software as on windows 10, make another backup and mark it as e.g. "stable backup 2"

After some time, you can then switch the backups between "basic backup 1" + "stable backup 2" getrost löschen.

I realize my comment doesn't address your problem(s), but I've been using Win11 for about five or six months now, and it's not as bad as some people make out. After debloating and optimization, I like it. As “twoheart” said, “I wouldn't throw in the towel just yet.”

 

Serato Sample doesn't appear in Windows firewall control...
I checked to see if there were any settings blocking the software, but there weren't any.
In the first place, why doesn't Serato Sample work when Serato Studio works without any problems?

 

Not a Windows 11 related problem, is a miss-configuration in your security setup.

 

Either you run a legit version of Serato and you need to renew your subscription, or you run a non-legit version and you probably need to block the app in firewall to avoid homecalling ...
