Can anyone explain to me how you install a new version of V collection without loosing all the old soundbanks and saved presets from a previous version? they have to still be on my hard drive I certainly didn't gain the space they take up from uninstalling the previous version.

Before you install something new, you should always back up your own presets.

Simply back up the entire "Preset" folder (hidden folder)
    C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets
and then, as the previous speaker wrote, simply copy and paste it again.

In the "Preset" folder there is a subfolder "User Presets"
    C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets
    Example: C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets\CZ V\User

Import is Successful but Banks Not Showing
    - Make sure to run the DAW as Admin because it needs Admin permission
to write new database file (db.db3) in the ProgramData folder.

Oh right so the exact same you'd do with Serum for example? I thought there was more to it than that, I've definitely updated V collection before and there was no issue. The soundbanks are all still showing in Analog lab so they have to be there somewhere!
