I was having some issues with Omnisphere so I decided to delete and re-install. However, I still have Keyscape and Trillian installed so I don't know how to do a clean re-install with the STEAM folder already in place. Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to do this? Thanks!

    Windows - Uninstalling your Instrument
If you would like to completely uninstall your instrument on Windows, navigate to these locations and delete the listed files:

First, let's locate and delete your Spectrasonics folder (if you would only like to uninstall an individual instrument, open STEAM and remove that instrument). By default, your STEAM folder will be in the ProgramData folder - follow these instructions to locate it:

    1.) Open File Explorer

    2.) Go to C:/ProgramData/Spectrasonics

If you don't see your ProgramData folder, click "View" in the top left of File Explorer, and then check the Hidden Items box from the sub menu.

    Delete the Spectrasonics folder.

If you installed your STEAM library somewhere else, you can delete the folder above, as well as the full STEAM library folder you installed in the other location.

Next, search your whole computer for "Keyscape.dll, Omnisphere.dll, Trilian.dll, StylusRMX.dll" and delete them.

Navigate to both of these locations and delete any Omnisphere, Keyscape, Trilan and StylusRMX files"

    C:/Program Files/Common Files/Digidesign/DAE/Plugins

    C:/Program Files/Common Files/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins

Lastly, delete the instrument shortcut from your desktop.

Keep Keyscape and Trillian and just uninstall Omnisphere.
Don't delete the STEAM folder, but the Omnisphere folder that it's in.

I uninstalled it, reinstalling it is the question since there is a STEAM folder already there for the other 2 apps.

You can simply install it over it, the old data will then simply be overwritten with the new. So just run the Setup.exe!

So when it asks me if I want to overwrite the previous data, I should click yes? That is what was making me nervous, I thought I was going to mess up Keyscape and/or Trillian by doing that...

That's right, just click yes and overwrite.

The Spectrasonics programmers were smart enough to separate the instruments in the STEAM folder.

the easiest way to install it, with the most likelihood of success is to install it directly to the default location. Don't change anything in the installer options. After it is done installing, you might want to even verify it works in your DAW and maybe even reboot. Then move the Steam folder, content, to whatever drive you really want it on. Then do your Alias or Symbolic Links, after you already know it is working; to redirect from the original default install location to the new location of your Steam content. It shows where you really have it looking if you go into Omnisphere Diagnostics.

The most important point is to leave it default install options. I have seen so many posts of problems caused by trying to install it directly to the external drive, and I have had it happen before also. "Custom install location" is the only thing they all have in common when problems arise.
