hi I am new here... just want to confirm.. AAX Protools also working native? or is it just Logic. Thanks!

 

i guess all is only Logic Version that works. Anybody success with AAX Protools?

 

I have done everything indicated in the instructions. I have also followed everything mentioned in this post. I'm using Cubase and a MacBook Pro M4 with Sequoia 15.2. Everything works perfectly except that when I open StudioVerse, it says "waves local server is not connected," and clicking "login" does nothing. In Cosmos, when I open it, it also fails to connect. IDX Intelligent Dynamics does not appear among the plugins (even though it has been installed), Space Rider does not install, and neither does Equator. What I’m most interested in is Studio Verse effects and instruments. Does anyone know how I can get it to work? This is proving to be very difficult.

I'm not installing Waves at all. But if I was, I would be starting with Waves Ultimate 15 v24.12.19 U2B macOS. It's a month newer than the version I think you may have used. It also has a different patch than that version from what I read. Save the RET kg in case you need it.
I would also expect it to not work for any online subscription service content in the first place. That's actually a pretty slick way to get people to at least pay for something. It's not a plugin subscription, it is a preset subscription. Whatever they will try next...

 

A couple of months ago, a guy installed it for me remotely through AnyDesk. StudioVerse was working perfectly, allowing me to log in without any issues and download all the presets available from the cloud. The problem is that after that, multiple passwords were hacked, including Spotify, Google, and even my system login credentials, so I don't dare let it happen again. I've bought a new M4 laptop, and when trying to install it, I have no idea how he did it, but yes, it is possible.

 

Yeah, I think you kinda answered your own question to what happened there, f. and yeah, while I don't care much for Waves myself, there are a few that I found or find myself wanting in perhaps some moment of weakness/laziness... but... no, I'm not going into the StudioVerse thing, as seems problematic on many obvious levels prima facie, and simply don't have a desire or need for it....

but I have read that people have gotten it working by installing it FIRST, and then installing the rest after or some rigamarole.... I can't find the thread or comment on sister site right now... but all I remember is someone around here who has a clue explained it... just not something I would care to do myself.

patched files and legit pt and aax are not gonna hang out together very often.

edit: I was wrong...and my apologies. I'm not sure if it is the somewhat unique fashion in which Waves has everything in a shell etc and PT will accept a patched version as opposed to their preferred preference and what it's looking for, but whatever... (I haven't used PT in years thankfully myself, so a little not up to date apparently ), but I'm glad it will work for you guys who do....

just simply download from waves central and use the Guseppe Patch
works fine

 

Do you have link for that? I am curious if anybody can patch waves to run native on mac silicon on PT
