I am on Mac- in Logic ever since I upgraded to 5 I am getting crashes (seemingly randomly) when going through various presets in the preset browser. It will work just fine for maybe 30 or 40 presets and then I will click on another one and poof it crashes Logic. Newest Logic. Sequoia on Intel Mac. Any thoughts? Thanks.

 

If you are on a mac that means you got a legit copy, have you upgraded to 5.1.3 yet? That should solve a lot of your problems.

 

How works v5.1.3?

 

I’m on Mac (M1 Studio - Sequoia) but with Cubase Pro 13, runs very well. Assume this is an issue with Logic compatibility rather than Mac Sequoia.
Hope you get it sorted or figure out a fix

 

People have mentioned the same thing with other configurations. It is not an issue with Logic. It will be figured out, given a reasonable amount of time and testing.

 

Anyone notice that you can not automate the mute or volume on a part/Lay/Rote via cc on any Nexus version.
I know you can mute or volume CC the whole instrument.
If you know how I would greatly appreciate the help.

So far so good except my previous post. I installed over the other version 5 stable release.

 

It still has the problem of not saving the UI size in FL Studio

In Ableton, the D key doesn't work, that is, when you press the S key on the keyboard(Computer keyboard), it doesn't work. This was also the case in the previous version.
In the layer routing section, I think they should put a button that we can press to go directly to ARP, like in version 4, where you could either turn off ARP or go directly to that section
Assigning still doesn't work
I hope they add the resizable section in the next versions

 

I'm just trying to locate all the GUI image files so I can make really cool edits.
There are buttons for the retro tab that are missing and so I cannot edit them, but they show up in use.

Hello! Maybe someone can help me. I have eight buttons on the midi commander to which I want to assign (learn) different presets in the Nexus 5. I don't use DAW in my experiment. I open the VST Nexus 5 in the Jam origin - Midi bass 2 program, which I use at concerts to switch different VSTS. For example, Omnisphere has a built-in LIVE mode that allows you to explore and assign any settings for midi messages in my midi commander. In the Nexus 5, I didn't find any options on how to do this. Is there perhaps some way to get under the hood of the Nexus 5 and assign different presets to the appropriate midi commands (e.g. CC86, CC90)? [/url][/IMG]

Still issues assigning ENV 1-4 LFO 1-2 STEP 1-2 (drag and drop method)
Just spoke with Playtime, this is NOT an issue with the Legit release. Confirmed by Playtime, Radio and others.

I cannot find these white button images anywhere to edit them.

 

The UI size problem you experience is fixed in the latest update. Also the default state of piano roll visibility.

Please note that this is on legit N5. You can't really expect cracked release to be perfect due to protection complexity.
I truly believe that Team V.R is trying it's best but I feel there are some loopholes which just can't be predicted.

If you really use and like Nexus, I'd suggest you to buy it while it's on sale now

 

Yes, I didn't test the macros in the previous version, but yes, ENV 1-4 LFO 1-2 STEP 1-2 still don't work.

Don't mess around with it or change it yourself. You'll break more than you can fix and then ask us how we'll fix it. Wait until the reFX Nexus team offers new skins. Nexus 5 has to be stable first and later there might be the old skins from version 2.

 

You have to use the buttons at the bottom like in the attached picture.

 

This problem only exists in FL Studio, otherwise in Ableton the UI works fine and has no problems
Well, if the legal version does not have these UI problems, then the problem is with the cracked version

Yes, you are right, we should support those who took the trouble to make Nexus, but Nexus 5 still does not encourage me to buy it. I only use ready-made presets now. Otherwise, when I read the news of the release of the editing feature, I said to myself that this will be one of the best digital synths, but the UI and the small size and the non-resizable nature of the plugin destroyed the enthusiasm and excitement for
sound design.

I hope they add resizable and not just fix the problems, but also add new features to Nexus 5 Like version 4, which was great in every way, in my opinion.

 

Yes, the bottom buttons work, but the Env buttons 1-4 or LFO 1 and 2 do not connect.

 

I still can't understand why they didn't leave only the standard Filter modifier,Amp Modifier, Delay,Reverb and Master filter on this page and that's it.
As it was originally fixed in the Nexus 4
The effects are repeated in routing, why edit them here?
I'm starting to get confused about this. All editing, effects, would be better left in routing.
