Does PT 2021.7 with the R2R Unlocker allow me to run k'd plugins, or just patched?

    I don’t have a First license, so I think I should give up on working with Pro Tools. My plugins are cracked. I installed the 2024 trial version, but it doesn’t recognize most of my plugins, probably because of the legal version of Pro Tools. Version 12.5 is also really old and lacks some features.

    The R2R 2021.7 fix won't work with PT intro, Intro uses different .dll files, Avid did it on purpose once they found out about the First workaround....

    If you get a perpetual license for PT, you should be able to download the 2021.7 installer and just use that version with the R2R patched .dll to be able to use k'd plugins, I don't know if pro tools will bug the crap out of you to update or not, but if you have a perpetual license it's worth a shot
