You probably messed up something because the basic "SAW init" patch use VA osc and clean SAW wave on my side.
By default the SAW Init is the same thing as a basic SAW patch on an analog synth, no real mistake here. It's just a basic patch to start with.
You just need to start with something else if you want.
Anyway the SAW has a pretty clean waveform ...
Of course if you switch to "sample" OSC then you need to load a sample ...

First off we were talking about Nexus 2 which is a rompler, also maybe learn how to read, do you see were I wrote "Nexus is not a synth it's a rompler, at least it was until this update" AS LEAST IT WAS UNTIL THIS UPDATE smh Secondly it's funny how I can load V1 presets into V2 and they sound exactly the same. Yes V2 has some updates that let you manipulate the sound differently, better is subjective.

Can you tell me which monitor you use or which monitor should I use so that the buttons are larger and easier to read? If I select a higher resolution in the Nexus user menu, less than a quarter of the GUI extends beyond the bottom edge and I cannot use it. I use a 4K LED monitor - screen diagonal 68.4cm/27" - 16:9 aspect ratio. Will it be better with a 32 monitor?

 

On Windows, the plugin seems OK (I precise I'm testing the VST3, not VST2), but by browsing previous/next (left mouse clicks on arrows at the right side of preset name), on certain presets the plugin crashes.

Also it looks they're missing goodies in V.R's Factory Content, some presets can't be loaded (missing sound blabla).

It's not a problem for me because I'm using (legit) VPS Avenger v1.0 (bought when released), same for (legit) u-he DIVA & Synapse DUNE 3, my favorite synths. I'm not a professional, just an hobbyist (no public productions, only private).

 

Sample editor does not work here in version 5.11 vst 2 and 3. Anyone share the same experience?

 

Mine seems to be working, the loop point feature is a little buggy though. What's happening on your end?

 

I cannot open the editor. N5 crashes!!

 

hmm...N5 closes or is your whole daw freezing?
Asking because my daw will freeze if I try to assign any of the modulators in Nexus.

Ok never mind I just had the whole daw crash while trying to mess with the editor.

The sample editor does not work and crashes N5 when closing!
The sample screen remains blank .The sample in question does not appear in the editor. Also the audio cuts out. Then N5 crashes after a certain time. I've tested this in several hosts!

 

What kind of system do you have? Which DAW do you use? Do you meet the system requirements? More info = more help!

 

I am having issue with my UI size of nexus 5, I set it to medium (or any) and it automatically resets to small every time I close the plugin or open wrapper setting. I am using FL Studio, if someone has a fix, please tell me.

 

Just install the new 5 update. It will update whatever version of Nexus 4 you're currently running with the new 5 update you're installing.

 

legit or VR or both?

Mine is sometimes crashing in legit. But I cant reproduce it ATM when this happens.

Sample editor does not load the sample for the loaded preset. I can load it manually and save the preset. If I load the preset again it works. But if I want to edit the sample I need to load it manually again. Edits ar not lost. But that is not like it should work.

WINDOWS 10 fully updated. It does not work in any DAW or VST host. It must be a bug in the app. We'll have to wait for an update.

 

I found a bug
In the envelopes, LFOs and steps section, when I try to link one of them, for example to the wavetable position, it doesn't link

Nothing at all, the screws at the bottom of the plugin page don't link, but they all activate at the top of the page

In the matrix section, you have to select them manually for control
That thread-like thing doesn't link
The things I select are all the neat screws that are at the bottom of the plug.

I did this problem in Ableton and FL, it didn't work in either
I'm using the VR version and I don't think this problem is from VR

Me too. Again a bug I think. There's a lot to do for ReFX the upcoming period...

 

Overall I think that N5 is a fantastic instrument with almost unlimited possibilities and a very good user interface and sounds awesome!! I'm considering to buy the legit version but i don't know if the cracked expansions will work..Can someone acknowledge that?

 

If Nexus 5 it works on other PC's, something in your PC is not installed or configured correctly.

 

Finally, I've been trying to get someone to verify this bug for the last 24 hours. (I pm'd you and several other people since I wasn't getting an answer here lol) I figured out that work around too but I don't like it, I'm tryna catch some Serum vibes.
