I adore - kind of Steve Reich - and as such also the phase shifting effect he created.
Is there any vst plugin that could help me to achieve this effect?

    thanks

Any sampler or just a DAW will do this. Just play two loops and shorten the other one by a few milliseconds, depending how fast you want them to go out of phase.

Even a DJ software can do this.

Yeah. Reich's phasing effect isn't static. It intensifies and lessens over time. This makes achieving the effect in a DAW a little trickier, especially if you want it to be non-destructive. Load two samplers that don't have limits on the sample length, and then slowly automate their speed/pitch.

Or use a DJ program like Traktor, and manipulate the speeds of the decks using extra-fine resolution. You can record the performance from inside the program.

Do you use Reaktor or Ableton Live?

vcv rack (or cardinal if you want to use inside a DAW for free)

instead of using a clock to drive your sequencer, you can just use a pulse or square wave LFO, and you can modulate the speed of an lfo with another lfo. A very slow sine wave LFO modulating the speed of your pulse wave clock would do the trick. There is a detune module (unison by venom) which would be helpful in a case like this. Since you are looking to do this with a vst I assume also you will want to send the midi out from cardinal so your daw can use it, or if you use vcv you'll want to use chinenual's midi recorder to be able to import the dephased sequence into your daw.

Had fun doing this kinda thing with 2 same vinyl and just slowing the one with your finger on the edge of the platter . You needed them in sync to begin with but cool effect.
