Recently reinstalled Windows due to some personal issues and unfortunately I couldn't save or note anything.
No way to recover anything either.

If I'm not mistaken, quite some time ago, probably last year, there were a few Serum releases from TCD, Audiowarez and maybe others, not sure.


Before that, there was this one version that worked perfectly, it had no issues.
However, with those releases from TCD, Audiowarez, people complained it had automation issues or some things weren't working right. I was scared and didn't wanna mess up my setup so I stayed with that older version.

Present day, I now can't recall which version that was and I tried looking up here, I can't found anything. I tried the Russian Tracker site and found some but as I'm not sure, I can't identify which one to get. It's a complete fresh setup, so I really can't download several ones and check myself, also I'm not that expert.

Can somebody please help me identify the correct version or any latest one that had no such issues?

Hey! Thanks for the comment. I don't think the one I was using was that old. It was a newer version from 2023 as far as I can remember.

Thank you all! I am still not 100% sure which one it was, but I believe it was the 1.35b1 from r4e. I learned that there was a release from R2R as well, I'll use that one!

I'm still surprised that I missed the R2R release. I was going through a very tough time back then, probably missed it as Serum releases get taken down quite fast.

Been running the VST3 v1.368 (r2r) for quite some time now and noted that all the malfunctions reported with various menu items are seemingly squashed with that version. Can't really say if the mileage you get won't vary. Seems the various versions give differing results for a lot of folks.

 

Just a heads up that the v1.36b8 R2R release does NOT include SerumFX. You need the AUDIOWAREZ SerumFX release for that.

 

There's a R2R version with FX as well. My serum has all the FX. The version I have been running is thus; Xfer.Records.Serum.v.1.36b8.Incl.Keygen.with.FX-R2R
All CRC's match. It's a proper release.

Hey there. I did not find any SerumFX R2R release of 1.36b8. But it's all right, I never really use Serum FX externally much, I only use FX section inside the Serum instruments to design the sounds of the synth, so I'll be ok with it.

 

There IS an R2R release of v1.368. (e.g. - Xfer.Records.Serum.v1.36b8.Incl.Keygen-R2R - released 12-23-2023 sans FX). However it was a while ago that I grabbed that, and if I recall correctly I think I added the FX portion to my own archive. Hence "Jacky-boy" is correct in the fact that there is no R2R release with the FX included. You'd have to grab it separately.
