Is the any way to install EZX extensions for Windows on Mac? There’s only a few extensions for Mac, unfortunately. I’ve searched internet for a while but couldn’t find any information or instructions.

everything works everywhere. Just need to put the files in the correct directory in EZdrummer on mac.

 

/Library/Application\ Support/EZDrummer

 

In Finder, select the main boot device and navigate to:
/Library/Application Support/Toontrack/EZdrummer 3
Each additional library is to be installed/copied here as a sub-folder

Make note of the library (folder) installed with the EZdrummer app & plugins:
/Library/Application Support/Toontrack/EZdrummer 3/EZXP_EZdrummer3_Percussion



Using the Signature expansion as an example. You would place the two folders as such:
/Library/Application Support/Toontrack/EZdrummer 3/EZX3_Signature_Part_1
/Library/Application Support/Toontrack/EZdrummer 3/EZX3_Signature_Part_2

 

Thanks but I meant…if the Windows EZX version works on Mac. If so, do I need to open it in Crossover or can I download and open it on Mac? I have cracked EZDrummer.

You missed my point as I was responding to what you posted and then asked the question again, just differently. As pointed out by @Harish Pamu, @NeXT, @mrichi & myself in older post(s), yes you can use the library from Windows as the files are the same. The location of the folders on macOS is different as detailed in my posted reply.

btw...When you say extension, what you are referring to is actually an expansion.

The Core Library ISO as an example contains the following:
Contents>
EZX3_EXdrummer3_BrightRoom (Expansion)
EZX3_EXdrummer3_MainRoom (Expansion)
EZX3_EXdrummer3_TightRoom (Expansion)
Installer.app (macOS)
Uninstaller.app (macOS0
Installer.exe (Windows)
Uninstaller.exe (Windows)

If you are installing the Core Library or another expansion manually, you would simply copy each expansion folder to ~/Library/Application Support/Toontrack/EZdrummer 3 and point to it in the Libraries page/tab of EZDrummer 3.

The (opposite) trick is to make one big folder for everything, in the easiest location you can create. Example: /ezdrummer

That way, no matter what happens, whatever you move around, it will always be looking at the same place. I think it is recursively looking at every subfolder of your main folder. Once you know and have simple access and location, you know exactly where the plugin is looking for files. Then you can do whatever you want.

Sorry, I wasn’t sure if everyone understood my question. English isn’t my first language so sometimes it’s better to ask twice and of course it’s expansion. Idk why I typed extension. It confused me because there’re extensions for mac and windows without any explanation. I’m talking about cracked versions.

Cracked or retail, the structure is the same. The difference being that the retail version requires everything to be authorized. Any expansions from warez should be ready to use with cracked CE V.R. versions of EZDrummer, EZKeys or Superior Drummer.

Language not a problem, just making sure everyone is on the same page or at least reading the same chapter

 

I was skeptical the first time I read the "dump everything into one main folder method". But it absolutely worked. I made /ezdrummer folder at the root of an external drive, put everything in there with no rhyme or reason, and pointed the plugin to look to that folder for all content.
You can't click into the folder, you have to select the top level directory. Their other products are the same way. Just make sure you set the permissions for that folder and all sub-directories correctly.

If you encounter some Mac expansions which have an installer, you should be able to manually extract the content from them using Pacifist or Suspicious Package. I do remember a few would not install normally via Installer. https://mothersruin.com/software/SuspiciousPackage/
