I’m having trouble getting the license file to work on macOS. Both the Windows and macOS versions of the software match. However, when I try to use it on macOS, the license isn’t recognized.

Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone have suggestions for resolving it?

I'm talking about the A.O.M. Invisible Limiter G3. I thought the whole idea of a gen was that I can use the normal installer and not a patched one?

you have to run the keygen in Crossover on your Mac. That way it can get any needed details from your machine to create the key.

 

tried this. The aom license manager accepts the license as valid but all the individual plugins still seem to be running as unregistered trails within the DAW

 

is it patched? are you using a legit installer from the manufacturer? or are you using a cracked and patched version? many plugins still need to be patched in order for the license to work.

 

Sometimes licence are calculated using some hardware info, and then not compatible on a different hardware ...

 

K'd version A.O.M in windows are patched by R2R or any k'd A.O.M released you have

So , you wont be able to use generated license A.O.M in macOS

because , you must to download A.O.M k'd for macOS

keep in to mind , macOS and Windows is not same for k'd VST and plugins , but some plugins and VST's , which are released by R2R ,
are not patched , because , are can activating with Keygen and can be used generated license by keygen on windows and macos.

i think this way be useful run keygen with crossover in macOS and regenerating a license , may be activate by regenerated license

There is quite a bit of info on the other site, and multiple solutions depending on the user's Mac/MacOS details that were not supplied here. Search for AVX2 to find the thread about these plugins.

 

I'm not worried about it all for myself. And maybe the discussion is there on the sister site.. All I'm saying is that if you start a thread, people take their time and try and help you out, and then you find a solution for your particular situation/scenario, it's common courtesy to provide it for the next person who may encounter it.
