If you are considering voca.... buy it directly from them... saves you 10 euro. 29 vs 19 directly from them...

 

Ok I bite the bullet the other day and purchased Sonnox Restore Bundle for €109.
And I certainly have no regrets!!

 

Thrust is nice, but I could see why people might prefer Inflator, since they're not identical.
With superior features, I don't understand why more people aren't on PiMax, which is in another league. I mean, $25 solid? Done.

Do you think sonnnox compressor is something special, or can be replaced by any other ?

 

If you only need compression, there might be other good alternatives.

Sonnox Dynamics is more of a dynamic compression toolset, than a single compressor.
You have several modules, like Gate, Expander, Sidechain-EQ, Limiter and Warmth.

It may be old but it still sounds very good.
I like putting it on vocals or drums, to control the peaks, combined with the Gate.

If you are ok with using iLok, those 28 Bucks are well spent on it.
"Normal" price is something like over 200 Bucks, so it was a no-brainer for me to get it.

 

I also decided to purchase the dynamic EQ and the drum gate, which I have to say has just replaced BSA silencer. You can bring natural recorded timbres and durations back in even with the gate on hard, and specify anything or everything to leave out with a soft gate manually if desired and it remembers everything. Worth every penny.
