Despite the existence of various digital tools and the ease of working with them, learning those tools and also the nuances of music takes time. How many years do you think it will take you to learn everything you need to make your first professional music? Some genres of music are very complex and have many, many details, and learning them all takes the youth away from people. Unfortunately, the problem of slow learning speed always exists and the more the learning time increases, the more its negative effects become evident in people's psyche. Compare your mood now with a few years ago. You learned many things every day, but this much learning has never made you happy and has increased your stress and mental conflicts. Can you specify a time and say that your learning is complete and you have learned everything you need and now is the time to use what you have learned?

There are kids that are 14 years old making the next big hit on a cracked version of fl studio right now that barely know how to use the program also kids the same age that have insanely powerfull and creative voices , but most people here ( not naming anybody ) alot of them been making music for more than 10 years yet they can't make anything more than mediocre music at best ( i include myself too pls dont come with the talk for yourself attitude becouse the reality is that i am not liying save your salt ) so there's that take it as you wish but you dont need to practice for 10 years to make a hit or sound professional it all boils to whether you have talent or you dont enough said

    Where are those children now?
Excuse me, I ask twice. Can you show me those children?

The reason for this question is that a large amount of processed information must be placed in the brain, then one expects professional music from people. Musical geniuses are exceptions, and maybe one child out of every 10,000 people can be found, and his learning speed is very high, but the prevailing phenomenon is that most of us are ordinary people, and without taking time to learn and meditate, we cannot do professional works professionally. Without learning, One person cannot become successful just by relying on short-cut methods. There is no magic to increase the speed of learning and the amount of information required to become fluent is very high.

    Let me calculate:

    People on Earth 8000000000/10000

results in 800000 geniuses. Should be more than enough to provide all the professional services needed.

Foster, we only stop learning when we die. Even if we do mediocre music, the ride itself is the reward. Enjoy the ride.

Theoretically in the true definition of the word professional, if you're making a living from it then you're a professional so age doesn't really come into it. If you mean how long will it take to learn everything there is to know? As someone insinuated, music is a journey and every great player in touch with reality has said much the same thing. That being that they wish they had several hundred years more because the more they learn, the more there is to learn. So in Demloc's words ,enjoy the ride.

Becoming a professional in this field only takes a few YouTube videos, so if you're slow at learning, I'd say 30 minutes.

I've been doing this for nearly 40 years (it is my profession), and I have a PhD in audio technology, but I'm still learning. Every day is a school day.
