-Due to Apple's constant hardware and OS changes forcing us to always have to screw around with our software we are discontinuing all support for Mac OS. We are abandoning all Mac support as Apple no longer gives 2 slices about developers and only locking down their users to their "Apple" is GOD cult.

What you said is true. When something becomes inaccessible, it attracts attention and everyone wants to own it. It has the similar function and efficiency like others. Even with the new cracked version, many users who are very interested in it will not use it.
Pro Tools is a slow tool, but because of its interesting GUI, people think that when they mix with it, their music will sound more professional.

 

Avid has long been overtaken by many others who perform much more for far less money.

 

The reason UAD uses iLok is that they hired former Avid developers—just check LinkedIn for confirmation.

 

Avid is like the high class prostitute, everyone wants her, only a select few can afford her, and once they've had her were not that impressed with her, especially now that she's getting some age on her and there are younger, prettier gals with more to offer on the market....

 

Personally, I have been running PT 12.5HD since 2016. Been working fine and still continues to this day. Got a little anxious when the R2R 2021.7 showed up, but the heels quickly cooled once I found that the PT-first license was since FUBAR'ed by avid (I was a late-comer to the release). So I continue with 12.5HD. For what I need PT for it works fine. IF the witches choose to empower us with the latest version it would be a great gift and I'm not one to give the stink-eye to a gift horse. Other than that, AVID can rot along with UA. Two POS corporations that I thoroughly despise.

 

At this point, I'm convinced we won't ever see a fully cracked newer version, I managed to get the 2021.7 version thanks to the first license, but I think 12.5 was the last full version we'll ever see on the scene.....imho

 

What exactly is AVID saying? Prices going up or down?
