how do you all use real debrid on pc? I use it for premuim streams on my Kodi on firestick

 

As with premium streams, it also gives you access to premium links on file hosting websites. (RapidGator.net, KatFile.org, etc.)

Pretty handy for adding a torrent as well, which you can then stream of download instantly.

 

i mean i get using debrid as bouncer for torrents but stream from a unfinished torrent ?

I have an Alldebrid account for now, although their servers are in France. Also testing out TorBox for a month.

I use this a long time now. Doesent download too much. i think its a good price.

 

I don't use RD but I know it's REALLY handy when it comes to streaming films and series. Kinda sucks that this is happening but hopefully it won't completely fuck up all the torrent repositories.

I have jdownloder but wouldnt have the slightest clue on how to do this. I can't even get my browser to pick up Jdownloader, its always default browser download or torrents for vuze

 

those prices are terrible

there's an addon for jdownloader for real-debrid, and jdownloader inherently will watch for urls in the clipboard

Just a dumb question,
Back in the days (2005 and later), a friend of mine was downloading absolutely EVERYTHING from newsgroups.
I had tried one news provider, and indeed there was a ton of stuff. A +30 GB game ? Found. Old/new movies ? Found.
Each file had several .par files, to help recovering and decompressing the file, in case some files were missing, corrupted, etc. That feature was great.

All we needed to do was going to the right group (something like) abc.news.movies.english, and there were tons of titles.

question: are newsgroups still relevant, in 2024 ?

These last years, I remember clicking on some newsggroup ads, and landing on some newsgroup website.
I would try to give it a try, but the 7-10 days trial would require me to register (normal) but also to provide.... a fukin phone number !
Is that normal ? Subscribing to damn newsgroup service, and having to provide full name, complete address, phone number....
Why would they require all that personal data ?
Back in the days, there used to be a ton of pedo stuff circulating on those newsgroup servers. Maybe by asking full address and phone number, they want people to think twice before downloading or posting some weird stuff...?

Would you provide your phone number and other personal info to a domain that 'allegedly' used to host CP? I wouldn't... but I need to check what is this website you're talking about. So far I haven't felt like I need anything else besides AllDebrid.

Usenet was never 'great' for audiowarez, you'd see the occasional thing posted there, but most of it was on ftps and, later, p2p

everything was uploaded on alt.binaries.sounds.utilities. There just wasn't all that much stuff, compared with today. I cannot see anyone wanting to go back to that.
