Is there a plugin or software that can convert music files (MP3, WAV, FLAC, etc.) to MIDI as accurately as possible?

I've tried it with Ableton, but it didn't work well...

there are a few threads on here about this, one pretty recent. search the forum and you will find some answers. I think it was @clone who suggested a great technique, of shortening the decay on whatever you are trying to convert to midi, so that the algorithm does less guess work in between notes, and just gives you the first part of the notes.

Melodyne Studio is the best I've used.

Do you somehow not end up with lots of small data points in the detected midi? Overlapping notes and fragments of Midi notes.

Out of the ones I've tried, NeuralNote is the best by far, I don't have Melodyne though.
