Many moons ago, I wrote and produced this demo album. They are originals. Most were written alongside my favorite co-conspirator, and tracked with a little help from local artists and one award winning, Irish singer. The bass and drums were temporarily tracked with simple MIDI sequences. This is all pre-DAW, recorded in pieces into my Roland S-760 sampler, assembled, then mixed onto DAT. I intended to replace them with live performances, but word spread fast and this collection was signed to a prominent indie record label before completion. Soon after, tragedy struck, and the project was buried . . . until now! Over the years, I have asked for feedback by a select few friends on A.Sex, and I remain grateful. Now, I'm finally ready to restart my dusty career. I have a ton of new songs, but . . .

I’d like to revive at least one of these tracks, but which? It's important to me that I bring a little of my past with me on the new journey . . .

Any advice, comments, feedback, or suggestions are welcome.

yo i feel like Edge of Tears is the strongest song here, has like a Mazzy Star x Belle and Sebastion vibe, strong feeling and is for the doomer sad girls, which is the indie scene currently lol. the instrumentation even has that slight country feel, which is popping right now and they love that minimal folky stuff. theres definitely a large audience for that right now; and just from a songwriting perspective, its written and arranged well, it also can be helpful to others and serve purpose in their lives. this is the type of shit people can listen too when youre down

though you gotta trust your taste above all homie, that is the most important thing. my best advice would be, to ask yourself what resonates with you the most? what do you want to represent your past as an artist with going forward? its tougher when you like all of the songs, but you have to trust yourself and your decision making. the more you have confidence in yourself with the steps you take as an artist, the clearer the path ahead gets. feedback can tell you more about the person giving it but; most people cant tell you what will work for you at this point on your journey. you gotta trust your footing and take the steps to see. good luck with your career fam, i enjoyed listening to these
