WHAT IS LANDR Synth X?

I wanted to test it and possibly buy it, I looked for a test version, but there is no test version. There is also no PDF to read and there is very little information on their website www.landr.com/plugins/landr-synthx . I couldn't find any reviews or tests. I don't even know what it sounds like.

 

It must have just come out I suppose? I couldn't find any info on their website either. I saw it on audio deluxe at half off.

I bought the LANDR - Synth X...49,50 EUR.
Unfortunately there was no video with music examples and no way to test it.

The most important thing is how does it sound? It sounds bright, clear and silky.

The GUI is very user-friendly, the controls are good and clear, the GUI can be enlarged. This company also saved the manual as a PDF. For some controls and functions there is an explanation that lights up when you move the mouse over it, but not for all of them.

Note about payment: if you buy from BestServive you can also pay with PayPal, LADNR only accepts credit cards.

Congratulations, I'm curious to hear what you think of the factory presets.
My problem is that I can no longer hear about 33% of the highs.

 

I will definitely give you my opinion if they ever send my license. They sent me an email saying they needed more info and asked about my studio. I'm like wtf I don't own a studio just a bedroom dabbler like most LOL

 

They collect a bit of data on the side, data is the new gold. At LANDR they want a user profile, but I didn't fill it out.
You should be notified by email after payment. Always a tricky thing, I'm surprised it all works anyway.

 

I'm really glad landr gave me a free repitch elements license but to be honest this doesnt look like a good synth

 

Interesting, it looks like the built-in synth in the Hexachords Orb plugins.

No it doesn't, in a market with the beasts like Serum, Vital, PhasePlant, Equator2 and now Current2 one need to offer something unique to the table while this one looks like just as an usual VA synth with a WT possibilities. Wonder what DSP program they used? It looks to me as a stock pile math compilation without any creativity involved, thus the price (the overprice if you ask me, it should be in the W.A.Production range of 14$ or so)

 

Babylon has discovered a gap in the market, it is targeting people with little money in the oversaturated virtual synthesizer market and/or people who think, 'Oh, that's cheap, I'll buy it...!

' Starting at 99 euros, which is a normal market price, you try to sell as much as you can and when sales drop, you have summer sales and winter sales and if you hardly sell anything, you get 15 euros - 10 euros, a 90 percent discount. There was once a company called AAS that was almost bankrupt, they sold everything for 12 euros and are still on the market today because they invented products that people need and buy.

playing with it now, and its very limited. the free vital blows this thing away. Limited routing, effects, modulation, etc. Not worth the price at all. The only thing it has going for it is the randomization, but even that could be better. Oh yah, and its crashed on me. Twice. Force closing ableton and all.

 

The same Synth X as Synth X but with a different company name and GUI and all for 149 EUR!!!

Orb plugins has been aquired by LANDR several month ago. This is the same synth.

Redarding this synth. I own Orb Synth (the initial version, not X), and I didn't like it. Really. Very mediocre. May be, they have improved it, I don't know.
