Yeah, I agree with all this. However, I mostly just DJ at home (or friends houses) and the S8 gets rid of jogs which I never use, so more just cos it's fits my techno based DJing style rather than anything about build quality etc.

 

Helo my friend. I was a pro dj in the 2000s and after that for my own joy. I always used cdjs, what model the clubs or raves had.

I own a ddj400 just for fun, but for me, wasnt funny and I rarely use it. I just cant use a laptop while djing.
I use almost all the time the cdj200s, cdj1000 and 350.
CDs are not a problem for me. I still have my old cds, not even one got rotten or something like that.
I have a cd burner and lot of blank media on the closet.

I love mixers, mainly djm750 and rack mount djm4000, cant stop using them, even when dawless jamming.
