What do you think about music critics? You follow music websites, blogs?

In my experience I've followed for a long time Piero Scaruffi, which I find quite respectable also thanks to him I've discovered lots of music. Sometimes I go to metacritic, and look at the top albums, but I find that most of the scores are inflated.

To find stuff I have not listened to yet, I like to take a look, from now and then, at charts (you can customize them by genres, years, even countries) at rateyourmusic.
    Discovered some nice things there.

Sputnikmusic is normally my go to for reviews/ratings. I find the user based reviews more personal and varied, as well as the reflective feedback from others on the review. Other than that, Youtube podcasts are a good asset for more in depth discussions of albums, artists top rated material etc.
