People just don't understand notes... no, scratch that, I meant plugin slots these days. There's no convincing otherwise.

The modern digital age and a lack of education as well as poor nutrition in childhood and adolescence make some people victims of ADHD (attention deficit disorder) with concentration problems, difficulty thinking clearly and reading.

We should show understanding for people with these difficulties, because they too are victims of circumstances. Jokes about them are also inappropriate and counterproductive.

it could of course be that he is newly in love or has had a bottle of alcohol or is suffering from sleeping disorders....... etc.

I try to drop the vst instrument whatever it is massive , falcon , rapid in the blank space and the you can only drop audio effects in audio tracks keeps appearing this is driving me crazy for real wtf ableton how does this even make sense it's a vst instrument not an audio effect tried installing both r2r and audiowarez versions 2 weeks later it still happens what a pos

 

I think he understands it well, he asks why his Ableton shows 'Only audio effects can be inserted into an audio track' when he drops an instrument (a VSTi) on a BLANK SPACE when it should create a MIDI track.

Hey, PROMUSICAUDIO are you trying to drop MIDI on audio track? Or is it a blank space OUTSIDE of the tracks (MIDI or/and Audio)?

For people to help you constructively you need to provide details, such as OS, Ableton version, plugin version, EXACTLY what you are doing to create the issue, whether you've modified any of Ableton's settings of preferences (particularly on default tracks etc potentially), does the issue happen with any other DAW or plugin, have you tried reinstalling DAW, and then people can try to properly help you.

Wth?? But that isn't a blank space, that's a space for clips on the audio track

Are you completely sure he knows it?

p.s.: it would help if he (PRO...) took the trouble to take a few pictures or even better a short video instead of word salad
