No offense intended really, but you gotta read the KLU 2 thread, and properly learn what you are doing. If you 'need' this stuff, there is a modicum of understanding required of how it works in addition to time spent to make it do so in your situation.

You aren't following the instructions properly.

Those can be found in Fred Blogg's informative faq's, info files, and thread comments.

We can't do the book learning for you on that.

The information is out there. It's on you to read it, comprehend it, and execute it properly.

Agreed. You will need to evolve to a point when you can say "i'm really good with computers." Then it will all work.

You are trying to figure out Kontakt version 7 or 8? With a Kontakt 5 library. Try with something you know will work for whatever version of Kontakt you are currently using. Maybe even pick a Native Instruments one. They come with installers. As far as making a folder in /documents? Not sure where you got that from, but you may want to have 1 big main folder for all of your Kontakt libraries. Mine are always a root directory on the external drives I am using. Maybe it does not matter, but I don't normally make anything have to look multiple folders deep for content files.

You can use either application KLU or Add Library. Add Library just lets you batch add without storing your password to your keychain. If you even care about that.
