Ocean Drive bass

    Hi!

    How would you recreate this bass sound? (e.g. in Omnipshere or other plugin) What waveform, what filter, etc


    Also, I'm wondering about mixing techniques, how this pad at 1:23 is mixed that it doesn't muddy up the mix and the drums don't loose their punch when the pad is added... (I can't hear sidechaining... but probably there's still a few dB of sidechain ducking on the pad?)

    Do you know a good (free?) plugin for such "formant" processing that I could apply to a synth bass?
