    Hello folks,

May I have your suggestions on how to fix the GUI of Abbey Road 60s Drummer in Kontakt 8 (8.1.0) while the same library (i.e. .nicnt) has no GUI issue at all in Kontakt 7 (7.10.6)? Shown on attached screen picture (Intel MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1).

I have both Kontakt 7 & 8 and all libraries appear as they should be and sounds properly except this Abbey Road 60s Drummer has GUI issue (but it still sounds normally).

Your reply is much appreciated and have a great day !

    Thank you.

save the nki from 6 or 7 before.
or load the NKR resource in instrument option and save.

it seems that k5 instruments need a minimal k6 structure to show the GUI.

Thank you bobdule for your reply and advice.:)

I have just tried to "load the NKR resource in instrument option" in Kontakt 8 and didn't not save since it only shows like the screen capture as attached pic and it did resume a bit but apparently the GUI is still missing most of the graphic.

Since I don't have Kontakt 6, so for "save the nki from 6 or 7 before", can you suggest which Kontakt version to run the "save" and how-to ?

    Thank you so much again.

    Hi bobdule,
In case I have to do the save option, which one of the below should I pick ?
    (a) Patch Only, (b) Patch and Samples, (c) Monolith ? (as attached screen capture)

    Thanks again!

    hey bobdule,

    (1) So can I use Kontakt 8 to do so or it's better to run the "save" in Kontakt 7 ? Since in Kontakt 8, most of the GUI is still missing even I re-load the nkr resource file via instrument option.

    (2) Since there are already 4 nki files, should I save (i.e. patch) the nki in the exact original name (i.e. no need to rename) OR I can just rename the nki file so that I know which is original and which is the re-patched nki?

Looking forward to hearing your feedback.

    Much appreciated. Thanks

    Hey bobdule,
Thank you SO MUCH for your advice. By saving the "patch only", all instruments GUI finally repair normally.
Much appreciated for your sharing & tips.
    Have a great day !
