Hi, I have just set my bass track with a synth and Beat Repeat as an insert fx. The track plays well. When I flatten the track with a synth and Beat Repeat the track plays well, too. But after flattening the track with a synth only and then adding Beat Repeat as an insert fx I am getting a snap/crackle, a-kick-like sound when the gate in Beat Repeat is opening/closing. It looks like the gate is slicing the sample without fading the gate runs or a zero crossing problem occurs. Why? Any help, please.

Yes, I did some research, and yes, Beat Repeat is glitchy, and it has been since the beginning. It is supposedly designed for percussive sounds, not melodic uses. But why does it work differently in my case? Once it is glitchy, another time it is not.
