you have installed everything? WAIFU? root certificate? does kontakt works basically if you try to load a one shot sample then tweak a but and then play?

write on sis site also and think about opening a thread by yourself here, it something you can easily solve

 

Thanks @patatern , I have not installed any extra WAIFU from a different download, I ran r2r keygen within the release and all seemed OK.
Root certificate? I just followed the r2r instructions which didn't mention that apart from xml (unless that is the root cert).

My solution: danilov k8 portable for cckd libs and legit k8 for legit libs.
Not ideal but seems stable enough for me.
K8 portable libs manager is excellent.

Interesting... I finally opened a Cubase project that was using Kontakt 5 and was replaced automatically with Kontakt 8, so that is K7 and K5 both being replaced OK so presume Kontakt 6 will be OK too

do not know what you mean but with version 8 it is no longer needed to created NICT files to import in the banks. as long as you have the "wallpaper" included in the folder with the presets and waves.... it will will be visible as a bank in Kontakt Portable. that is one of the great deaturees of this portable for me. and also the ability to see the version of the library. when updates come and u do know what version you already have..

 

Question, has anybody figur out the possibilities to still lisen to the presets of the abnks imported? we do not see the banks in the search section. onlyn in the default view. still would be great if we can get around it and hear the presets.
