    And a real guitar player can even tell you what position the pickup selector switch is in. (I'd guess neck but not sure.)

    Not a strat guy (which disqualifies me being a real guitar player) ... my guess is middle pickup is involved, with neck. Real strat shit.

    In his other videos he using Fender Strat and looks the same colours. Fender also do Strat Squire and Hardtail too cheaper models which comes without Whammy bar and probably different sound too

    probably a Squire or some other Japanese brand (Tokai/Hondo etc) it is a Stratocaster style gtr with 3 single coil pick ups aka SSS

    China gets half its GDP from exporting 3 pickup guitars to EBAY. go there, go blind scrolling....

    The tone is mostly a function of the reverb - you could get a similiar sound from a humbucker or even a piezo.

    but its a nice riff. think I'll steal it...
