It's annoying but I never had issues downloading big files (up to 900mb) with these services, it just takes a while and that's fine. It would be great if more people would provide Mega or Mediafire tho. I mostly save and upload everything I download in an external server so I don't really bother with these downloads. That being said, I obviously am not going to sign up for this shit.

Maybe time to consider alternatives to Kat? I know tezfiles keeps files hosted for unlimited periods of time and seems to have a revenue thing too for the uploaders if I am not mistaken. Rarelust must have thousands of films that were uploaded to Tez over a decade ago now and the links are all still working fine.

And after signing, it's still 100KB/s. You have to wait 120 minutes for each time and you just got 2 GB daily traffic.
By the way, there's no confirmation email. I just used something even I don't remember

Yeah.. I would not be filling out any forms for Katfile or signing in.

I only visit Katfile links in a sandbox anyways after 6 months ago their site set my ad blockers into full blown "This site is fucking you! Run!"

I don't think Katfile is a good site to continue to direct AZ visitors to anymore. They doing too much weird shit and frankly it's starting to feel risky? Like Katfile smells like it morphed into a straight up a fishing site over the course of the past year, right?

Just my opinion. I'm not the captain of this ship, obviously.

Believe it or not, all these file hosts aren't charities. If you're there to download, they know they have something which you consider valuable. If lots of people are clicking on free links then they have to do something more to pull you into their ecosystem. Getting you to sign up for a free account gets you closer to paying them for a premium account.

Or at least that's what they're counting on. We all know there are people that will never pay for anything, ever, simply on principle.

I had registered a long time ago with a fake address, yesterday I entered the same infos and everything was back to the way it was before: 100k to download.
I think it's just a way to get email addresses and keep your attention up... hoping for a paid upgrade.

I remember last summer, all of a sudden over three days (without me doing anything), KAT started downloading at 1/1.2 Mb, then went back to 100k.
I've never understood what happened... maybe a way on their part to give users a taste of the high download speed.
Did it happen to you too?

As SAiNT wisely said.... NitroFlare is not the best: members voted against it because for free users it downloads at 10k. Dot!

In the long term, you should set up your own server and finance it with membership fees. In short, make yourself independent.
Maybe you should then pay the uploaders a flat rate for each upload.
