Yes, I'm tired of UAD's bullsh*t! Everytime I install a new update, they force 13Gb of plugins onto my system. I then spend an hour cleaning out stuff I don't own. The last couple of times I did this, I was met with the "There was an error initializing the input channel plugins." BS! They don't offer any info on how to deal with this, so users are forced into stumbling their way via tools such as UADPluginMate, etc.

When my Apollo Twin starts to fail, I will NOT buy another UAD interface. There are plenty of better options out their now without having to buy into their insane plugin infrastructure.

 

As I've often stated, UA Connect will not work on my computer and they want me to uninstall half my programs as a solution.
Never bought their software but got it free with a Volt2 which I told their customer service I regret buying.
My complaints have changed nothing.
The interface works but I don't know how long that will last without UA Connect so looking to trade to a different brand.

 

UA's way of saying we don't give a shit and we do not want to talk to you - just give us all your info and we'll make certain every PII Broker in the universe gets your info so we can make even more $$.

 

Yes, I think UA are really taking the piss.
Their entire catalogue is installed locally and when I pay for a plugin it's simply unlocked locally. I don't want all their shit on my system but I have no choice because I'm invested in UAD plugins for a long time now.
