That's a serious stretch. Try-before-buy does not mean decompile the software, stick your company name on it, pay low wage workers to reassemble it, put it on sale for a fraction of the retail price, and use the original unit's time-built reputation as your sales pitch.

This notion of this guy as some kind of Robin Hood figure is laughable, at best.

 

I heard you man hahaha. Now why do you want to put me in a defending position, can't you take a joke? There's no need to get fueled up, it was not serious at all, just a kinda dark joke. He could never be the Robin Hood type. His only redeeming quality as businessman is selling reputable gear's clones for a fraction of the og's price. Which should be good for poor musicians but still even that is questionable of course. And i am thinking i can be an Uli client too, as now i am sort of a poor guy who just happens to own expensive gear from another era
