I had moved away from the Atari and on to the Amiga and by PC by 1995.

Although I started and stayed with Cubase for many years, about 5 years ago I moved to Studio One and really enjoyed the DAW it did some things for me that better suited my work flow. Then about 15 months ago out of curiosity I installed the trial of Bitwig Studio and 3 days in to that trial I purchased it, there was something that was very magical when I installed it, it just seemed to make sense, and it has been my DAW of choice since then, I still go back to Studio One now and then but mainly stick to Bitwig, although saying this Studio One will always be installed, I could never uninstall it, its just a great DAW.

I am a classic case of I never mastered using any DAW I am more of a bit on this, quite a lot on that kind of guy. Enough to do all I need to.

I used to use Reaper but only for Ninjam (before JamTaba came around) what I saw of it seemed a little complicated but I have never sat down and actually try to use it as a DAW, its something I am planning on doing, I hear so many good things about it.

What would most of you choose between Nuendo X Cubase X Studio One?

In my opinion there is no platform that can create music faster than logic, then Cubase comes next, then I transfer it to pro tools and complete the editing recoding mixing work with pro tools.

I've used reaper studio one nuendo samplitude for years, but I've never seen anything other than this trio, the best midi workflow in the world is in logic and cubase, and the best audio pro tools.

This is how the whole world works, yes, I have made many escapes to other programs, but unfortunately, I went back to this trio, there is a perfect order established in the world, there is no time to go out of this order.

these 3 daw, (logic-cubase-pro tools) they are in perfect condition right now.

    (26 October 2015) Synapse Audio - Orion 8.6
I once installed orion for 32 bit plus on a 64 bit system. It was a great experience. A graphical surprise for me. It looked nice and very clear. Unfortunately it was not further developed and production was discontinued. Unfortunately, crashes were the order of the day. I have now deleted them and am playing old 32-bit plugins in Studio One v2!

Graphical highlight? ... this is how it was back then! Attached is a modern graphic.
