The DAW manufacturers and sound designers have most of the work anyway, a lot of work and little money. There is a saying: "Ingratitude is the world's reward". Only a few users, even here in the forum, are incapable of appreciating something and thanking the people who put so much effort into producing it all.

When some users hear that an update costs money, they freak out. I paid so much for it, I expect it. Some people drink as much money in a weekend as a DAW costs....

 

Seems like a lot of effort just to browse presets. Maybe the efficiency that the OP is looking for can be found in focusing more on the sounds and not so much on the effects right away; ignoring these inconsequential things they can't control, and visualizing the end goal instead. Perspective is everything.

what i say is, the mix page controls the sends, like reverb & delay
if a sound fx isn't essential to the patch, i´ll put it into the sends
maybe the sound designers do.did the same
as op just talked about the fx page, i suggested the mixer page, hope that clears things up
everything else is just nonsense
