    Hello, I 'm trying to install waves plugins from waves central, I downloaded r2r's latest release to copy the license files, does any one know which files/folders to copy exactly?

    If this is your first Waves install, skip this step.
    Run included "R2R_Kill_Waves_Background_Process.cmd".
    Confirm that there are no COSMOS.exe, WavesLocalServer.exe, WavesPluginServer.exe are running.
    Uninstall previous release.
    Uninstall Waves Central.
    Clean Paths:
    Your VST2, VST3, AAX plugins dir
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\
    %PROGRAMFILES%\Waves Central\
    %PROGRAMDATA%\Waves Audio\
    %APPDATA%\COSMOS\
    %APPDATA%\Waves Audio\
    %LOCALAPPDATA%\Waves Audio\
    %PUBLIC%\Waves Audio\
    => If you think you are not experienced, search "WaveShell*" in your C drive, then delete all.
    => We always see people having problem with old shells which should be uninstalled before.
    Clean Registry:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Waves\
    Install Runtimes

    If you use SoundGrid, install/update SoundGrid drivers.
    Google "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable", download from Microsoft and install/update :
    Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015-2022 x64
    Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime (used by recent web based plugins)
    Install Waves
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Unzip our installer, run and install.
    Scan or rescan plugins from your DAW. If you updated, complete rescan is recommended.
    If you use sample based instruments, locate the instruments path from application start up or GUI.
    Sample Libraries Releases (currently, most can be also downloaded from Waves official) :

    Restarting Background Waves Servers
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    This is useful when background process are doing something wrong.
    When background servers are not working correctly, following issue happens.
    * Plugin scan fails (WaveShells return 0 plugins)
    * Preset Browser does not work
    * COSMOS (also in CR8 Sampler browser) does not launch, or exits with no license error
    * Some of the plugins like KeyDetector, Waves Gemstones cause license error
    Run included "R2R_Kill_Waves_Background_Process.cmd".
    Run these EXE manually.
    "%PROGRAMDATA%\Waves Audio\WavesLocalServer\WavesLocalServer.bundle\Contents\Win64\WavesLocalServer.exe"
    "%PROGRAMDATA%\Waves Audio\WavesPluginServer\WavesPluginServerV15.1.bundle\Contents\Win64\WavesPluginServer.exe"
    After that, rescan the plugin.

    I'm not asking how to install r2r waves ultimate, I'm asking how I can copy their licenses and do my own custom installation using waves central,

    This is not possible with the R2R version, the R2R version completely installs all plugins. Please uninstall this version and install the following version: Waves Ultimate 15 v25.10.21 Incl V.R Patch WiN, in the version from Team V.R you can select the plugins in Wave Central that you want to install.

    The crux of the biscuit is to uninstall old version [completely]. Then install the new version following instructions given with the new version.

    I do not believe that is possible with the R2R version as they do not use waves-central - it's either install everything, or install nothing with their releases of waves..

    If I remember correctly the Team V.R. version uses the waves-central app that allows for doing the custom installs (installing selected plugins, etc...). Once everything is installed to your liking with the waves-central app then you run "the patch" that applies the magic to the installation.

    I use the R2R Ultimate 2024.12 but today StudioVerse online presets browser stop working due to this error;
    >> Sorry, this page cannot be accessed.
    The IP address of the server register.waves.com cannot be found.

    I try some fixes but nothing works and I like to know if a complete "re-install" would solve this bug or if Waves simply change their process and now this release is not working with StudioVerse?

    I don't use VR releases

    The problem related to DNS and cookies and all have already been invested!

    Im gonna forget the StudioVerse as I don't need presets at all and in the near futur will use Grok
