    I am looking for a list of Loud Rock/Hard Rock specialty radio shows that except submissions.
    Looking for their contact information and submission guidelines.
    Haven't been able to find anything on the internet. Anybody on here found one?

    Only interested in commercial FM stations, not college or internet stations.

    TIA

    It's easier to apply to private online radio stations worldwide. Do you want to earn money?

    Quote:
    " The music industry follows rules that we as consumers or musicians sometimes don't understand. Somehow, only artists who either have a big deal or have such a large community that the hype does the rest seem to get a chance. But how often does that happen? In most cases, if you don't have a deal with a record company, it's extremely difficult to even get on the radio. "

    I found 2 German-language pages that are worth reading, please translate with "DeepL" or "Google Translator".

    Hard Rock radio – Listen to 253 Hard Rock radio stations online --> www.radio.net/genre/hard-rock

    Online platforms: Similar to distribution for streaming services, there are also platforms that connect artists and radio producers.

    Music Promotion Network (MPN) --> www.musik-promotion.net/en/login
    PromoJukeBox --> www.promojukebox.com
    Disco --> www.disco.ac/

    You should also join Gema and GVL if you haven't already. They will ensure that you receive your royalties.

    Thanks for the info Radio! I will check them out. I believe I have been played on some of them before. What I am really looking for is Specialty Radio shows on FM. I've had large campaigns on FM before. Forget about it. But the specialty shows will play it. Just can't find a list of them.

    I've looked through everything too - couldn't find anything either. Since the Internet and more and more online radio stations, the stations here in Germany are financed through membership fees and advertising.

    Mostly everything is protected by GEMA. In the past there were radio stations in Germany that played alternative music at least once a week, but those days are over. Many musicians founded their own radio stations. A friend from Italy recently put a song in the dark synth pop genre on an Italian radio station, but I think it was private. I wish you lots of success in the radio station jungle anyway.

    Maybe you should just contact the big radio stations with your question.

    Thanks for your help Radio.
    Yes, things have changed so much just in the last few years. I think I'm going to give up on specialty FM here in the States. I am going to make a big push on College radio though.

    I'm a big fan of radio because everyone can receive it for free, almost anywhere in the world. Today, many people have Spotify subscriptions, YouTube and thousands of other radio stations online.
