NI Session Guitarist. They're only allowed to live subtly behind a live acoustic guitar track, or deep in the mix, never out front.

You are not allowed to use acoustic guitar in the library.. ask me how I know.
Also not allowed to use Tuba there either, man they are strict....

Omnisphere for main guitars (particular Hans Zimmer Guitars) and NI Session Guitarist, and Orange Tree Samples for background.
    Works every time.

Is there an inverse relationship between the number of physical guitars owned and the level of humility displayed on online music forums?

Anyway, another vote here for Orange Tree Samples. I also like the nylon libraries from Musical Sampling and Ilya Efimov.

What do I need a Library for I have A 60's Gibson Humingbird and an 80's Godin Acousticaster and an old D'Aquisto classical that a friend gave me, I am a guitarist so I don't need any libraries.

I only do acoustic guitar parts on guitars that I build myself from trees from my own backyard that I nursed from seedlings so suck on that :rofl:

So yes, I can play acoustic guitar reasonably well but there's still lots of reasons to double or replace them with libraries, it can help the sound shimmer having that perfect sample in the background, it may be a fingerpick part that I'm not really feeling like working on for hours when they sampled fingerpick will work in the context of whatever I'm working on, it may be back so far in the mix that it's just way way faster to use the library than bother with the real thing because at the end of the day no one's really going to be able to hear it; there are legit reasons even if you play you might still want to use an acoustic guitar library.
Like I said I tend to try to always just hide them behind real guitars but I don't pooh on the idea of them.
