The product (license) are actually authentic redeemable codes, since he is a distributor, that's redeemable with your own account. No takeover, and no iLok scam.

He also lets you redeem code first before payment, for every product.

I was just as skeptical as many of us here—but I did try it out. I spoke with developer/distributor without any trouble or hassle, and gave me their direct number to conduct business. He is connected and is a one-man operation with @felix1423 being the interim with a small Facebook group so far.
I've spoken with him and @felix1423, and he does not want to create an account because he won't be involved as much—so it makes sense that @felix1423 is the interim for the community here.
Everything looks authentic.

I've officially purchased Pro Tools Ultimate Perpetual and Serato Pitch n' Time Pro from him so far. Everything was 50% off market price, with the exception of Serato being even cheaper, since he gave me 50% off their promotional price that they are having. So he reasons a lot, and will negotiate a bit. But it's already more than generous since he's charging already half-off.

The Avid code I received from him, was accepted and the fresh iLok code was generated in my account afterwards, within hours he delivered.

With Serato, it's only been a day since—but he got it done, for which I assume PnT isn't a popular software to begin with, but again—straight store redeemable code, and everything checked out.
I am not sure how long this will be sustainable or how big of a customer base he wants to have, but he seems genuine and nothing but good luck with him so far.

Stores have probably bought directly from developers and publishers wholesale—so then 3rd party stores or Dealers (Sweetwater, Thomann, Guitar Center, ZzSounds, PluginBoutique, etc.) gets suggested MSRP to sell to actual customers, to us at the recommended price that they sell directly.
This is usually how creators, from small IP creators to full blown companies sell within the marketplace. Think of it as like "Costco or BJ" in the U.S., where they sell it close to wholesale, and compared to Whole Foods which sells it at full market price.

My hint or theory is that the distributor's connection is probably already selling at a loss the more their physical or digital store is open, since business costs to keep going will always happen since there will always be bills.

Why not sell it at -50% instead of never getting the 100%?

The logic makes sense to me personally.

Now it leaves the question:
Why can't these awesome prices be known more in a public setting or website? Why the secrecy?

And my somewhat-answer to that is...The NDA and conditions the 3rd party dealers have with the original publishers. For instance, Dealer and Reseller stores have strict publisher approval terms on whether they can approve discounts on their brand product, and cannot discount on their own. It makes since since original publishers/developers wants a certain level of revenue to meet their quotas every quarter (since 3rd party dealers take a percentage of sale).
