The above pack isn't free, but $97 (see the link to home page),
so, LDVN, fix it and don't mess up with "free" and "royalty free" anymore!

Pretty sure I downloaded several "beta" packs from the official Cymatics freebies & betas page in the past - they were all... free. Can't speak for Shrine specifically.

Complaining about someone's work on a website you are too lazy to make an account on makes a lot of sense.

ok, let's explain it just on fingers:
sister site has 2 columns: left and right, agree? The stuff on the left side is paid - software/samples/MIDI etc,
but everybody can download that stuff for free, still the devolopers sell such a stuff (below each post you see the link to developer's home page), agree?
The stuff on the right side is free by definition! For example:
plugins by Analog obsession a free everywhere, they are downloadable for free from their site, as a comparison: Waves plugins - you can download them from the sister site for free, but could you do it from their site? Yes, some developers give away some stuff for free as stated there on their sites "Free download",
but, this is an exception to the rule - any commercial company should sell something to feed their families and pay taxes.
Conclusion: everything on sister site is downloadable for free regardless of the status set by the developers (paid/free), agree?
So,
the distribution discussed here should be on the sister site on the left side and without the inscription "free"

The link posted on sister site takes you to the Shrine "Launch Edition" which is the $97 for a limited time. Not the BETA "free" version. This is not the fault of the poster LDVN, unless there was prior knowledge to the fact.

Cannot find any link to the Shrine BETA pack using a search engine. Links to previous free BETA packs take you to the "launch" versions so, there seems to be some bait & switch going on. You should be getting a "no longer available" designation for any product that is now a 100% release requiring payment. Then you should have the option (a link) to purchase.

The packs currently listed on the Cymatics BETA page:

A little time doing some searching would have given clarity where it was lacking. I personally recommend to my son that he avoid sample packs & get in the habit of creating his own. There are some unique offers from time to time but, most are just recycled samples & loops.

Digital crate digging is your friend.

The link to the paid pack is completely fine in this sense. Its the beta of the pack, so linking to the paid is a common thing. I see the same thing with kontakt libraries, or other releases, even plugins. If theres a free plugin that's part of a suite of plugins that are paid, the link is linked to the suite of plugins that are paid, not the single free one.

Idk who you are, but coming out the gates with crazy attitude and zero ground to stand on, speaking harshly on somebody who is volunteering for the community is crazy.
