    Hello audio friends...
What do you think is the best 808 bass/sub bass preset (Serum, Spire, Diva or other synths for Mac) to play tuning bass notes so as to get the kick drum in tune with the notes of the chord?
I prefer the synth presets method (and not use audio .wav) because I find it simpler pressing note key. :)

It would be greatly appreciated if you could tell me the exact names of the presets you like (so I can search for them within the synth banks). :winker:

Of course, if you have a different and better tips I will gladly read it...

    Many thanks :mates:

With SERUM you have many more design editing possibilities.
You can try it too. FAW.SubLab.XL

Avoid falling for the "no samples" trap, 808s (assuming you mean bass/sub bass), really only sound good in certain specific ranges.

Even if you use something like Serum/etc . . . It's still only going to sound good for a few keys/notes, so you're going to be limiting yourself.

    https://www.ramzoid.com/808-cooker

That's basically just a sampler for 808s, comes with samples, pitch shifts them, can load them, and is set up for manipulating them.

If you just use Serum or something, you might have more flexibility in certain ways, but a lot of 808s are about the processing, layering, etc . . . Effects chain, and you aren't necessarily going to have the best things built into whatever synth you use.

They only sound good for a pretty limited range, don't arbitrarily rule out .WAV samples.
