I use Studio One Pro 6 on Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit.

I'm looking for a vst plugin which can stretch the audiosignal on a track.
So far I always have to do this:
1. Transform my vst-instrument track into an audiotrack
2. Right click on the generated audio event -> Speed -> 0.5 for example.
By using this method the audio event becomes twice as long.

I would like to have this easier, especially the possibility to do it on a vst instrument track
would be much more comfortable!
Also, when I play for example 4 piano chords stretching afterwards might no be that easy,
because I believe I would split them into 4 audio events.
If a stretch plugin would be active, I guess I could just play them in a normal way and they would be stretched automatically.

I've tried:
PaulXStretch, but apparently it records samples rather than manipulating them live?
And CatStretch, but here I only saw 2 alp files - no idea what to do with that.
Looks like Ableton.

Any other recommandations?

Cableguy Halftime ? also available inside Shaperbox. It does it in zero latency

it sure does give some interesting result when you slow it down, it stretches and play the audio slower at different pitch too. It was cool 10 years ago but yeah

 

Devious Machines Infiltrator also has similar timestretch features.
